Olushola Abel Oladipo is a Professor in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin with over 20 years’ experience in teaching, research and University administration.
He has served as the Head of Department, Faculty research manager and currently the Editor – in – Chief of Ilorin Journal of Science. His research interest is on the equatorial ionosphere under the influence of space weather and the earth magnetic field during quiet and disturbed periods. His investigation includes radio probing of the earth upper atmosphere in order to understanding the mechanisms responsible for the dynamics of the region. He has supervised more than 20 M.Sc. and Ph.D. candidates. He has over 50 articles in reputable International Journals.
Professor Oladipo is a fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, UNESCO-ICTP Mori Foundation and currently an associate of the International Center for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy and Chairman, NIP Kwara State Chapter.
