AJIBOLA, Taiye Benjamin, a Reader and acting Head of Physics Department from August 2023.

He had his secondary education at Government secondary School Omu-Aran and Sobi Government secondary School, Ilorin; his undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs, 1992,BSc Physics, 1995, MSc Physics and 2011, PhD Physics were done at University of Ilorin. He was a Level Adviser, Faculty Representative to General studies division, as well as Security section and the Deputy Director of Unilorin Renewable Energy Unit. He has supervised more than 50 undergraduate students, as well as more than twelve postgraduate students which includes Ph.D. His recent research interest is on saving cost by using solar energy and generating electrical energy from his research works.
