Biography

Taofeeq Olanrewaju Lawal, is a Senior lecturer in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin, with more than a decade of university teaching, research and administrative experience.
He has served as departmental Examination officer and as member of several departmental and faculty committees. His core area of research is in Effect of Radioactive elements on groundwater, farm produce and the atmosphere, Effect of Radon element on groundwater, Evaluation of Heavy metals in ground water and dumpsites, Geophysical Investigation of Groundwater Contamination in a Solid waste disposal site using electrical resistivity.
He belongs to several Research Collaborative Groups, and has (co)-authored several scientific papers published in outstanding ISI-ranked journals. He has published over 30 Journal articles in Physics and related disciplines. He has supervised several B.Sc. dissertations, while M.Sc. and Ph.D. are in progress.
Dr. Lawal is an active reviewer to several outstanding ISI-ranked journals and international conference proceedings.
