Oluwatoyin Olasunkanmi Olasanmi is a Lecturer in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin with about nine years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
He has served as departmental level adviser for five years (2016-2020) and as member of different committees in the Faculty and Department, among which are; Faculty Environmental Committee, Faculty Student Welfare committee, and Faculty Research Committee. He is presently the Examination officer for the Department of Physics. He was the Physics Department representative on the Faculty Committee for the selection of the best Innovator of the year for the Late Prof. Akinkugbe Award, 2023. His research interest covers Semiconductor thin film deposition and characterization, Solar cell fabrication, Nanotechnology and optoelectronics, 2D materials.
He has to his credit eighteen (18) publications in reputable journals together with two (02) conference proceedings. Dr Olasanmi Oluwatoyin is a registered member of the; Nigeria Institute of Physics (NIP), Material Science and Technology Society of Nigeria (MSN), Nigerian Society of Physical Sciences (NSPS) and Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
