Biography

Oluwatoyin Olasunkanmi Olasanmi is a Lecturer in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin with about seven years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience.

He has served as departmental level adviser for five years (2016-2020) and as member of different committees in the Faculty and Department, among which are; Faculty Environmental Committee, Faculty Student Welfare committee and Faculty Research Committee. He was recently nominated to represent Physics Department as a member of the Faculty Committee for the selection of the best Innovator of the year for the Late Prof. Akinkugbe Award, 2023. His research interest covers Semiconductor thin film deposition and characterization, Solar cell fabrication, Nanotechnology and optoelectronics.

He has to his credit eleven (11) publications in reputable journals. Dr Olasanmi is a member of the; Nigeria Institute of Physics (NIP), Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and Material Science and Technology Society of Nigeria.
