Adijat Folashade SHITTU is a Technologist in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin with a decade of technical teaching and administrative experience.

She has served in various departmental and faculty committees; she is the current head of the laboratory unit of the department. She has experience in instrumentation and materials characterization, and dedicated to handling Practical Physics and Electronics at all levels.

She has attended several trainings including, Equipment Handling and Operation, Research Methodology, Laboratory Safety; Science Laboratory Technology – A Catalyst for Promoting Small and Medium Scale Enterprises in a Developing Economy, Advance Digital Appreciation Programme for Tertiary Institution (ADAPTI), Operation and Usage of FEI Aspex Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Applied Hands-On Training on Science Equipment Maintenance and Management. She also participated at the Nigeria’s Nuclear’s Security: Establishing the Human Reliability Program. Mrs. Shittu is a member of Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology.
