Adeniji Olayinka Olawepo is a Reader in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin with over 2 decades of university teaching, research and administrative experience.

He has served the university in different capacities and currently he is head of the Department. His area of research interest includes Ionospheric and Space Weather Physics, Ionospheric Modelling, and Radio Propagation, propagation of radio waves and their implications on technologies. He has published a number of research papers in reputable journals and has had quite a number of local and international presentations. He has also attended a number of national and international trainings. Dr. Olawepo enjoys collaborative relationships with a good number of scientists within and outside the country. He is a member of several scientific bodies which includes African Geophysical Society, Nigerian Geophysical Society, Nigerian Institute of Physics, Institute of Navigation, and Union of Radio Science, (URSI) Nigeria etc.
